How shops get verified, condition grades, payment, listing and leads. Answers for both buyers and sellers.
For buyers
- How do you verify shops?
Every seller must run a real shop with a public address in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or Rawalpindi. Individual private sellers are not permitted. When a shop registers, listing tools stay locked until an administrator visits the counter in person.
- Is this free?
Yes. Browsing prices is free. There is no listing fee today, and commission is zero at launch. Shops can publish inventory only after that in-person visit.
- What if the price is wrong?
Prices are set by the shop, not by us. Contact the shop to confirm the price and the unit before you go, and check the figure at the counter before you pay. If a listing looks misleading, use Report on the listing page — staff can hide it. We do not process payment on the site.
- What do the condition grades mean?
Every offer is labelled with one of six condition grades — New: Sealed, unopened; Open box: Opened, unused; Grade A: Excellent — no visible wear; Grade B: Good — light cosmetic wear; Grade C: Fair — visible wear, fully functional; For parts: Not fully functional. - How does payment and delivery work?
Contact the shop first to confirm the unit, then walk in and pay at the counter, or arrange cash on delivery directly with the shop. resale.com.pk does not process payments and there is currently no on-platform checkout, digital payment, or card/bank transfer flow through the website.
- Can I track my order on the site?
Not yet. Formal on-platform order tracking, status updates, and delivery tracking are not currently live on the platform. Any order coordination happens directly between buyer and shop.
For sellers
- How do I list my shop's stock as a seller?
Visit the seller sign-up page and register your shop with your trade name, shop address, city, and dispatch phone number. Your account stays in a pending state until an administrator visits your counter in person and verifies it — after that, you can list inventory attached to the canonical product catalog. - How does shop verification work?
After you register, a member of our team visits your counter in person to confirm the shop is real and at the address you gave. Until that visit, your shop is pending and your listing tools stay locked. Once verified, you can publish listings straight away.
- What does it cost to sell on resale.com.pk?
Nothing today. There is no listing fee, and commission is zero at launch. We do not handle payments: buyers pay you at your counter or by cash on delivery that you arrange with them.
- How do I list a unit?
In the seller dashboard, choose the exact model from our product catalog (this step is required), then add the condition grade, price and details. If your model is not in the catalog, you can add it; the listing goes live once our team approves the new model.
- What is a lead?
When a buyer taps Call or WhatsApp on your listing or shop page, we record it as a lead in your dashboard, so you can see which listings bring enquiries. You can also log leads yourself and track their status.
- How do holds work?
A hold reserves a unit for a buyer for 1 to 72 hours, with an optional token payment (biyana). The listing shows as on hold while it is reserved. When the hold ends, release the unit back to the floor or mark it sold; expired holds are not released automatically.
