Seller Agreement

Summary: Only verified physical tech shops in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi may list on resale.com.pk. You are the sole seller of record for your items and must honor honest condition grades, legal title, and accurate PKR pricing. resale.com.pk is a listing venue, not a buyer, broker, or payment processor. We reserve the right to introduce commercial fees with 30 days' advance notice.

1. Eligibility and Physical Shop Requirement

To sell on resale.com.pk, you must meet and maintain the following criteria:

  • You must operate a verified, physical shop or retail counter located in Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
  • Individual sellers, online-only distributors without a physical counter, and mobile peddlers are strictly prohibited.
  • You agree to provide physical proof of premises, market plaza location, shop number, and valid contact details during on-site and remote verification.

2. Seller of Record and Legal Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that your shop is the sole seller of record for every listed item:

  • Condition and Grading: You must grade and describe items honestly according to platform grading criteria (New, Open Box, Grade A, Grade B, Grade C, or For Parts). Concealing faults, screen defects, battery health degradation, or repairs is a violation of this agreement.
  • Warranty and Returns: You are directly responsible to the customer for honoring any stated shop warranty, return window, or repair commitments.
  • Authenticity and Lawful Title: You warrant that every device and component offered has been legally acquired and belongs to you with clear title.
  • PTA Compliance: Mobile phones and cellular-enabled tablets must strictly adhere to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) regulations. You may not list or sell PTA-blocked or non-compliant devices under the guise of approved hardware. Selling stolen, IMEI-tampered, or blocked hardware is illegal under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA) and will result in immediate shop ban and reporting to law enforcement authorities.

3. Listing Accuracy and Currency

All listings published by your shop must:

  • Specify accurate hardware model associations from the canonical catalog.
  • Feature exact, honest descriptions and authentic photographs of the actual unit when used/refurbished.
  • Quote total cash or electronic purchase prices strictly in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Hidden surcharges or misleading prices are prohibited.

4. Platform Role and Disclaimer

resale.com.pk operates strictly as an online catalog and venue for buyers to discover physical shops:

  • We are not a party to any transaction, sale, delivery, or handover.
  • We do not take custody of funds, process credit cards, hold inventory, or provide escrow.
  • All inspections, handovers, payments, and receipt issuances take place directly at your shop counter or between you and the customer.

5. Moderation, Suspension, and Removal

We retain the unreserved right to moderate the marketplace to maintain customer trust:

  • We may unpublish, decline, or remove any listing that fails to meet accuracy or quality standards.
  • We may suspend or terminate shop accounts for customer complaints, unverified credentials, misgraded stock, or failure to pass periodic reverification.
  • Suspended shops lose all public storefront visibility and search indexing immediately.

6. Commercial Fees and Reservation of Rights

resale.com.pk currently offers seller participation without initial listing fees during our pre-launch and early operations phase. In accordance with platform policy and architecture decisions:

  • We explicitly reserve the right to introduce commercial fees, including:
  1. Listing fees for maintaining active catalog inventory.
  2. Placement fees for featured storefront or search positioning.
  3. Per-lead fees for direct buyer contact reveals or hold requests.
  4. Commission fees on completed sales.
  • Any introduction of fees will be announced with at least thirty (30) days' prior notice via email and dashboard notification. Continued participation after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the applicable fee structure.

7. Change of Terms and Agreement Updates

We reserve the right to amend or update this Seller Agreement from time to time:

  • When changes are made, we will publish the revised agreement on resale.com.pk with an updated effective date and archive superseded versions.
  • For material changes to this agreement, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' prior written notice to sellers via dashboard announcement or email to your registered account.
  • If you do not agree to the amended terms, you may terminate this agreement and request shop removal prior to the effective date without penalty.
  • Continuing to maintain an active shop, list hardware, or conduct transactions on resale.com.pk on or after the specified effective date constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Seller Agreement.

8. Term and Termination

This agreement takes effect upon your electronic acceptance during shop registration and remains in force while your shop remains listed. Either party may terminate this agreement with seven (7) days' notice. We reserve the right to terminate access immediately without notice if you breach this agreement or violate Pakistani law.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Seller Agreement is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute or claim arising from or related to this agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Karachi, Pakistan.
