Verification
How we verify shops
Only shops with a real counter can sell on Resale.com.pk. Before a shop's first listing goes live, someone from our team visits it in person.

The shop registers
Trade name, shop address, city and a counter phone number. Listing tools stay locked.

We visit the counter
Someone from our team goes to the shop in person and checks:
- The counter is at the registered address.
- The signboard matches the trade name.
- The counter phone answers.
- A photo of the shop front is taken.
-
The shop publishes
Only then can it list stock, each item attached to a model in the catalog.
No visit, no listings.
Keeping it true
180 days
Re-checked regularly
A verified shop is due for a re-check 180 days after its last verification. Due shops go into our team's re-check queue.
Any move
Re-checked after a move
If a shop changes its address, plaza, floor, shop number or map location, it goes back for a re-check, and a verification agent may visit. Its listings stay up meanwhile.
When something goes wrong
Every listing page has a “Report this listing” section. Our team reviews each report and contacts the shop, and the buyer too when the report was sent from a signed-in account, then decides what to do. That can include suspending or banning the shop.

What verification means, and what it doesn't
Verification is about the shop, not each unit. We confirm the counter is real; we do not inspect devices, hold payments or ship anything. Grades and defects are set by the shop under our grading standard.
